The graduation ceremony took place in the chapel in Friedensau on Sunday, October 15, 2017. Christoph Radbruch, the CEO of Pfeiffersche Stiftungen in Magdeburg, held the official speech. 34 Graduates – some of them in absentia – received their bachelor‘s or master‘s degree certificate on this occasion: in Health and Nursing Sciences, Social Work, Counseling, Music Therapy, International Social Sciences, Health Management and Theology.
Some highly dedicated students were honored with a price: Eudrich Jean from Haiti (MA Theological Studies) received the DAAD-Award. Sieglinde Wilke as representative of the Sparkasse handed over the promotional award of the Sparkasse Jerichower Land to Marissa Perchthaler (M. A. Counseling).
The following institutions wished the students a lot of success and a good progress in their studies and in their jobs: Friedbert Hartmann (Vice President and Secretary of the North German Union) for the Seventh-Day Adventist Church and Dr. Johannes Hartlapp (church historian) for the university. Kathrin Taraba (B.A. Theology) spoke representatively for the student’s council, Patrick Noack (B.A. Social Work) and Filip Kapusta (B.A. Theology) answered by their speeches. Congratulations to all graduates!
