Important information
Network Traffic
The data volume is currently open; however we put permanently high traffic volume more than 20GB. Please be concerned of the speed limit to ensure better performance of other users! (Tools to measure Network traffic is on the Internet as T-Online_DSL-Manager_6.0) Simple users do not need to worry about this. Anyone who is unsure of his Traffic stand can request by mail to HRZ.
For your information the network is provided to you for research purposes as a study aid only. It is still possible if you want it for other purposes but please contact the above mentioned personnel.
Maximum access
It is possible to have up to 2 computers or devices to have access to the network via LAN or WLAN.
Cancellation or Changing Room/Apartment
In case of leaving or changing room/apartment, please submit a form. Or it is also possible to write an email to HRZ.
Block in case of mishandling
Please be aware that you are not allowed to change any settings which the University has set. For e.g; changing your IP address, workgroup and etc. You will be blocked automatically if you do so. If you are not sure of anything and still would like to do some changes, please inform the HRZ.
