International Students hold workshop in Berlin

On May 26th, 2017 the students from the ISS program offered course on Conflicts over Land: Land Grabbing and Land Rights in Africa together with Dr. Jill Blau. This was part of the official programme of the Church Day in Berlin. The workshop themes of discussion were:  How is land defined and who determines its ownership in the world today? Want does land grabbing mean for communities on the ground and how can it be successfully resisted?  The workshop was led by the students and entailed case examples from Kenya and Ghana.
