Prof. Lilianne Doukhan as guest lecturer

Professor Lilianne Doukhan gave a lecture about „Music in Church Services“ on November 1, 2017 at Friedensau Adventist University.

Lilianne Doukhan is Professor Emeritus at Andrews University. She hold a chair on Liturgy and Music from 1991 to 2000 and she was also working as a lecturer in the faculty of foreign languages. She was born in Switzerland and started playing the piano at the age of four years. During a period of 15 years, she received piano lessons at different conservatories in Switzerland and France.  She received a Master’s degree and did her doctorate at Michigan State University. Professor Doukhan gave lectures on sacred music in the whole world. She is also author of various magazine articles as well as of a book with the title: „In Tune with God“ which can be borrowed at the library of Friedensau Adventist University.
