Institute for Religious Freedom (associated institute)<\/span><\/h3>\n

The Institute for Religious Freedom is an institution of the German Association for Religious Freedom (Deutsche Vereinigung f\u00fcr Religionsfreiheit e.V.) at FAU. The aim is to discuss in a scientific manner national and international issues of religious freedom as well as the relation between church and state from a legal, theological, and historical point of view. The findings and answers that, in particular, consider concerns of free churches and religious minorities are to be made available. It is important to observe the way in which religious freedom is guaranteed and to document violations, where necessary.<\/p>\n

The Institute offers to award and accompany research contracts and to issue expert opinions on current issues of freedom of religion and conscience, taking into account aspects of religious law and \/ or state church law. The Institute can also take part in public relations.<\/p>\n
