The speaker was Ruben Neugebauer from Sea-Watch e.V. The lecture was held in English.<\/p>\n<p>Sea-Watch e.V. is a non-profit initiative dedicated to civil sea rescue in the central Mediterranean. Within the framework of courses of the International Social Sciences program, an introduction was given to the work of non-governmental organizations, here for example to the work of Sea-Watch e.V. In the lecture, Ruben Neugebauer, a member of the Sea-Watch team, reported on his experiences in rescuing people in the Mediterranean. Afterwards there was the opportunity to discuss the work of Sea-Watch e.V.
