It is an important hub for postal services. Marcus and Sandra Krugel, operators of the Friedensauer Ladencaf\u00e9, terminated their partnership agreement with the post office at the end of April for financial reasons.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to an initiative by the university, the idea was born to convert the former reading caf\u00e9 in the library into a post office branch, supplement it with a \"Friedensau Shop\" and thus save the post office for Friedensau. Chancellor Tobias Koch signed a corresponding contract on behalf of the university on February 27, 2024. In the next few days, the reading caf\u00e9 will be converted into the new \"post office\", and the new rooms will be handed over on April 30 at 1 pm.
