To celebrate the 125th anniversary of Friedensau, the cinematic docudrama Echoes of Faith was created—an inspiring film project that brings history to life. Filming took place in July and August 2024, capturing powerful scenes that reflect the rich heritage of this unique place. The film is set to be translated into multiple languages and made available to audiences around the globe.
The world premiere took place in Germany on April 6, 2025.
Echoes of Faith tells the compelling story of Friedensau, showcasing how God has worked through generations in this remarkable location. The screenplay, inspired by Wolfgang Hartlapp’s book Wanderer, kommst du nach Friedensau, was brought to the screen at a variety of authentic locations.
A dedicated team of around 60 people—including professional and amateur actors, extras, and experienced crew members—worked together to make this extraordinary production a reality.
