Faculties
Faculties are central administrative units that bring together thematically related institutes and university chairs. They organise and manage the study programmes assigned to them and are headed by a dean who is responsible for research, teaching and studies. Friedensau Adventist University has two faculties, the Faculty of Theology and the Faculty of Social Sciences.
Faculty of Theology
The Faculty of Theology at Friedensau Adventist University stands for a balanced combination of academic education, collegial cooperation and Adventist faith. A particular strength of the faculty lies in the direct exchange between teachers and students, which creates an uncomplicated and personal atmosphere. Students are not only supported academically, but also in their spiritual and personal development. This creates space for innovative research, teaching and study, always in harmony with Adventist Christian values.
Faculty of Social Sciences
The Faculty of Social Sciences combines Christian ethics with social commitment. Here, students are prepared for activities in the social sector that aim to promote individual and social responsibility. The department places particular emphasis on practical training that translates Christian values into concrete social work. This enables students to professionally support people in various situations and actively tackle social challenges.
Both faculties combine scientific expertise with a strong ethical-Christian orientation and offer students a supportive, academically challenging environment.
