Art exhibition “Lost Paradise” with works by Ruth Dahm
20. Nov. 2025
“Lost Paradise” is the theme of the art exhibition in the library of Friedensau Adventist University, which will be on display from December 13, 2025, to January 30, 2026. Works by artist Ruth Dahm (Garmisch-Partenkirchen) will be on display, and she will also be present at the opening on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 4 p.m. On this occasion, texts from “Paradise Lost” by the English poet John Milton will be read, conveying how divine mercy ultimately transforms every loss into hope.
The exhibition can be viewed during the library's opening hours. These are: Sunday to Thursday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; closed on Saturdays.
Ruth Dahm, creative coach, became involved with art at an early age and has successfully used it in her therapeutic work with women, for example, for burnout, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders.
Several years of training in design and art were followed by studies in art and design. After passing a special talent examination under Prof. Zaiser and Prof. Albrecht, she held her first exhibition in a public space. Others followed, for example in Düsseldorf, Darmstadt, and also at the Michael Ende Museum in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Ruth Dahm is a member of the Kunstverein München e. V. In Friedensau, she is exhibiting large-format works, mostly in acrylic. If interested, the paintings can also be purchased directly from the artist.
