Graduation in Friedensau: Tears are allowed

21. Nov. 2025 / Campus Living / Events

Graduation in Friedensau: Tears are allowed. They are tears of joy—joy that graduation has been achieved, that all the struggles to meet deadlines, get good grades, polish the right wording, the doubts, the worries—everything has been fought through! They did it! The graduates are joyful and happy on graduation day, October 12, 2025, in the Friedensau Chapel – the photos taken in the chapel and on the square in front of the New School (now Wilhelm Michael House) show it. The happy graduates with their fellow students, their families, their friends. Some have traveled especially for this day, some from far away ... Everyone is happy. They now hold their master's degrees in their hands. What a successful milestone! A life goal has been achieved; now they can start their careers.

We would like to give special mention to the recipients of the most important honors on this day: Mary Longor received the DAAD Prize (from the German Academic Exchange Service). The prize of the Friends of Friedensau International e. V. was awarded to Gabriel Agbojo – both for their outstanding achievements and social commitment during their studies. We congratulate all our graduates and wish them God's blessing on their future paths in life (Text: Andrea Cramer).
