Cooperation between Friedensau and Babcock University (Nigeria)

In line with the start of the Bachelors International Social Work program, Friedensau Adventist University, represented by the Rector, Prof. Dr. Roland Fischer, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Thursday, June 20, 2024, with Babcock University, Nigeria. Babcock University is a sister institution operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Nigeria (https://www.babcock.edu.ng/).

This MoU formalizes existing collaborations, and sets the tune for future collaborations between the two Universities. Key aspects of the collaboration will include programs and projects that strengthens Social Work and International Development (Development Studies) curriculum and programs, student and staff exchange, internships, staff development and research at both institutions.

This partnership contributes to the lists of semester abroad options for students in the International Social Work program that Friedensau offers. It also strengthens collaborations within the global network of Adventist Universities.
