Festive service and ceremony for “125 years of Friedensau”

Friedensau celebrates its 125th birthday in 2024. To commemorate this, a festive church service (sermon: Lisa Beardsley-Hardy, Ph.D., Head of the Department of Education at the General Conference, USA) will be held in the Arena on Saturday, 19 October 2024 at 10 a.m. and the anniversary ceremony (speaker: Prof. Dr. Jan-Hendrik Olbertz, Former Minister of Culture Saxony-Anhalt) will take place in the afternoon of 19 October at 3 p.m., followed by a standing reception. The conferral of degrees will take place on Sunday, 20 October 2024, at 10:00 a.m., in the Arena. The the keynote address will be given by Ventsislav Panayotov, Head of Preaching and Chaplaincy at the Inter-European Division of the SDA Church.

Lunch in the cafeteria (by prior arrangement) can only be paid for in cash. – Attention: Registration is no longer possible since 14 October!

Accommodation: Unfortunately, the Friedensau guest house is already fully booked. Please enquire about guesthouses and hotels in the surrounding area.

Car parks at both campsite entrances, next to the library and in the village.
