Friedensau Adventist University in St. Louis for General Conference 2025

03. Jul. 2025

A team from Friedensau Adventist University travelled to the 62nd General Conference Assembly, which will take place from 3 to 12 July 2025 in St. Louis (Missouri, USA). It will represent the university at the world's largest decision-making assembly of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, which is expected to attract around 2,800 delegates.

Michelle Koch and Szilvia Szabó will be available in the EUD pavilion, stand 2529, to inform the interested conference audience about the study opportunities at our Adventist university. The lecturers Dr Annette Witherspoon and Dr László Szabó as well as the students Lea Tiede (theology student and delegate) and Wilhelm Erfurt (theology student) and Chancellor Tobias H. Koch (as delegate) are also part of the travelling team and will – depending on the time available – provide expert information on their own specialist questions. The graduates of Friedensau Adventist University, who are active worldwide, will receive a particularly warm welcome at the university stand.

A highlight will be the first release of the Friedensau film ‘Echoes of Faith’ in English, which will introduce visitors to the idyllic place in the middle of the forest that was founded 125 years ago as the first European Adventist training centre.

The film screenings will take place in the Majestic Ballroom of the Marriott Hotel, directly opposite the America's Centre, where the General Conference is meeting, on the following selected dates:

Sabbath, 5 July 2025, 5:45 pm | Sunday, 6 July 2025, 12:45 pm | Tuesday, 8 July 2025, 12:45 pm | Thursday, 10 July 2025, 5:45 pm

Welcome – to the film screening at the Marriott and at the university stand (EUD Pavilion 2529) of Friedensau Adventist University!
