Paul Reichl

Paul Reichl was employed at Friedensau Institutions from 1951, first as an apprentice in agriculture, then as a forestry worker and locksmith, and finally as department head of the locksmith's shop until his retirement. Even beyond his retirement he worked part-time for 10 years; like a "walking encyclopaedia" he knew almost everything about the facilities and equipment at Friedensau.
Paul Reichl was much appreciated by his colleagues for his quiet reliable and conscientious manner: "A colleague to love".
Paul Reichl was firmly rooted in the village and its residents, especially in his voluntary work with the volunteer fire brigade - including as chief of the fire brigade from 1967 to 1976 - and in the local community.
We are grateful for his service with the students at the student ministry, the staff of the university, the residents and community members.
At the end of last year, his wife Susanna Reichl, with whom he spent the last two years of his life in the Friedensau retirement home, passed away. Our thoughts are with his two sons and their families.

The funeral service followed by burial will take place on Monday, 22.08.2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the retirement home, Ahornstr. 1, in Friedensau.
