How to use the library
Library Regulations
The library is governed by the terms of use and scales of charge.
To ensure that the reading room inventory remains available and easy to find, we clear all that has not been checked out from the tables and carrels every day. The media are then returned to the shelves.
Loan
The loan of physical items is free of charge for registered readers. The loan period is 4 weeks and can be extended twice if the medium has not been placed on hold. If the loan period is exceeded, fees are incurred.
Electronic resources
The electronic resources such as databases and e-books are accessible via authentication. They are intended exclusively for ThHF members.

Items that are not in the library collection can be requested online from our partner libraries as an inter-library loan. Requests incur a cost of 1.50 EUR per item (Cards are
available at the counter), for FAU-affilates free of charge.
