Information about the Deutschlandticket
The cost of the Deutschlandticket is included in the registration fee for each semester. The Deutschlandticket allows for unlimited travel on public transportation throughout Germany in second class. The ticket is not valid for long-distance travel (ICE or IC). All students can access the ticket digitally via the University App.
The Deutschlandticket does not include bicycle transport. Children under six years of age travel for free. Children over six years of age need their own ticket.
The Deutschlandticket is non-transferable. It is personalized and therefore cannot be given to anyone else. Only you are allowed to use the ticket.
Please note the following validity periods for the Deutschlandticket (which differ from our semester dates):
- Summer semester: from 01. April to 30.September
- Winter semester: from 01. October to 31. March
