University library launches online store

Small gifts preserve friendship, as the saying goes. Gifts can also create a link between memories and a certain phase of life or an institution – such as the alma mater where you are studying or have studied. At Friedensau Adventist University, for example, it is customary for new students to receive a small welcome gift – such as a bag or a folder with a pen – at the beginning of their studies, or for graduates to receive a yearbook from their graduating year.

For those who would like to have a certain book, a souvenir or the new university T-shirt from afar, there is now absolutely positive news: the Friedensau Shop is being launched these days with antiquarian and new books as well as various souvenirs. Using a clearly structured navigation bar, a selection can be made quickly – in English if required – and the desired item can be added to the shopping cart. Payment for the product is similarly simple. As a customer, you can set up a customer account – or log in via Google or Facebook – and then select the payment method. The purchase is completed in just a few minutes, and if the post office delivers quickly, the desired item will arrive in just a few days. This offer is currently only available for deliveries within Germany.
However, those who want the Friedensau anniversary calendar for 2024 for Christmas should hurry. The large-format calendar (A3) costs 10 euros in the store. It features a selection of beautiful images of Friedensau on 12 pages, as well as the highlights of the anniversary year's events. Including postage, it costs 14.97 euros. In 2024, Friedensau will celebrate its 125th anniversary; on June 9, 2024, there will be an open day. Friedensau is home to the Adventist University, which offers state-recognized Bachelor's and Master's degree courses in the fields of Social Sciences and Theology – some of which are part-time, online and part-time.
