Week of Spiritual Emphasis from 7 April 2025

Friedensau Adventist University is hosting the Week of Spiritual Emphasis 2025 from 7 to 12 April 2025. Radovan Marjanov, pastor at the Marienhöhe in Darmstadt, will speak on the topic ‘On the road with a tailwind: How God accompanies us through life’. The events during the week of reflection are open to the public. Admission is free.

From Monday 7 to Friday 11 April 2025, Pastor Marjanov will consider a topic at 7.30 pm in the Barn Friedensau. The topics are titled as follows:

Monday, 7 April 2025 | ‘A tireless wanderer: What the story of Jacob tells me’

Tuesday, 8 April 2025 | ‘Undaunted by suffering: The true background to the message of the gospel’

Wednesday, 9 April 2025 | ‘From original to replacement and back: How Joshua should classify two permanent miracles’

Thursday, 10 April 2025 | ‘What do you have in your hand, Moses? Just a staff or more? ’

Friday, 11 April 2025 | ‘Peter and his net: What the experienced fisherman had to relearn‘

A midweek devotional will follow in the ’Meeting under the Word" on Wednesday mornings, 10 to 10 in the chapel.

On Saturday, 12 April 2025, 10 a.m., The Week of Spiritual Emphasis will conclude with a church service in the chapel. The theme of the sermon is: ‘St Paul alone at home: the story of a lonely missionary’.
