Academic year ended ceremoniously

03. Jul. 2023

The 2022/23 academic year ended at Friedensau Adventist University (FAU) on Saturday, July, 1, 2023, with a festive service. The Friedensau University Choir and the University Band played music under the direction of Sebastian Kuhle, Head of the Music Department, theology student Itje Zepnik and Jonathan Rodney (BFD). Modern sacred music dominated the musical programme. The sermon at the service was delivered by the President of the Berlin-Mitteldeutsche Vereinigung, Gunnar Scholz. He spoke about the shaping of relationships which, with a view to the cross, give full freedom and allow the connection to the other person to succeed. Rector Roland Fischer said goodbye on behalf of the students who have already left the campus or will be leaving in the next few days to Carlos Estevao, who is studying for a Master's degree in Counselling at Friedensau and plans to return to work as a pastor in Switzerland in the future. At Friedensau Adventist University it is now time for exams. We wish all the students every success!
