30. Jun. 2023

The application period for the Master of Pastoral Ministry program at Friedensau Adventist University has been extended. It is still possible to apply for the English-language Master's program in Theology until August, 15, 2023.

The Master of Arts Pastoral Ministry is designed for those who wish to pursue a professional career within the church and therefore want to achieve a Master's degree in Theology, or who are already working as a pastor but are still without a Master's degree. The program is designed as a full-time course of study and lasts one and a half to two years. The study program is free of charge; however, admission is subject to certain requirements: For qualified students from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Slovakia and Switzerland, who can present a recommendation from their respective church institutions (conferences and Unions), tuition fees, accommodation and meals are covered by the Inter-European Division of Seventh-day Adventist Church.

The content of the program is geared towards the most important areas of work for a future pastor, such as mission and mission practice, church and society, church dynamics, plus the classic areas of Bible study and exegesis, systemic theology and church history. Various electives allow for specialisation according to the students' areas of interest or their individual requirements in ministry.
