11. Oct. 2021

On Sunday, October 10, 2021, the graduates of Friedensau Adventist University (FAU) received their Bachelor's and Master's certificates for their successful completion of studies in a festive setting. The ceremonial address was given by Stephan Sigg (D.Min., M.A.), President of the German-Swiss Association of the Church of Seventh-day Adventists. Professor Dr. Thomas Spiegler, Dean of the School of Social Work, and Alexander Schulze, Ph.D. (USA), Dean of the School of Theology, presented the documents.

Two particularly dedicated and ambitious students received awards: The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Award for Outstanding Achievement by Foreign Students was given to John Chibuikem Okpechi, a student in the English-language master's program in Theological Studies. The award of the Friends of Friedensau International e.V. was presented to Vivian Groß for her social commitment on campus and her academic achievements.

The former student representative Benjamin Bahr (Master's degree Theology 2021) as well as Noémie Agbosassa and Deborah Esposito, both graduates of the Master of International Social Sciences 2021, looked back on their now completed study time at the FAU and passed on their experiences to the following students in the "Respons".
