University says goodbye to guest house manager
20. Jul. 2021
A heartfelt thank you to Jennifer Menn, the outgoing guesthouse manager, who left Friedensau with her family on July 19, and with it her job. She had been working at the guesthouse since 2017, initially as a parental leave replacement, and since 2019 as its director. Her focus was on publicizing Friedensau's many opportunities to host weddings, vacations, retreats and conferences, once regionally but also in a Germany-wide context. The direct proximity of historically valuable culture barn and the guest house as overnight accomodation possibility – that are less than three going minutes –, in connection with house-own Catering and vegetarian refectory supply of the university, the close convenient park plants with children's playgrounds, the Ihle reason, free air chess and tennis court are convincing arguments to celebrate here meetings of the free church, congregation trips or mentioned weddings.
Jennifer Menn moves to North Rhine-Westphalia with her husband Christian – the prospective pastor of the Adventist church in Cologne – and their three children (11 and 8 years, 8 months). Due to the catastrophic flooding there, new and different challenges will await you, dear Menn family. We wish God's rich blessing and say goodbye!
