Session 4: Ehtical Humanitarianisms Series

On July 20, 2021, the 4th session of the thematic series "Ethical Humanitarianisms" took place. The topic was: "(In)security, Philanthropy and Ethical Quandaries". Prominent panelists were Ornella Morderan (Director of Sahel Programs at the Institute Security Studies Bamako, Mali), and Shelagh Gastrow (Advisor Gastrow Consulting, South Africa). Dr. Kwaku Arhin-Sam (Friedensau Institute for Evaluation, FIFE) moderated.

The Ethical Humanitarianisms event series is organized by FIFE (Friedensau Adventist University, Germany) and HUMA (Institute for Humanities in Africa, South Africa) as a joint project. The next event in this thematic series will take place on August 24, 2021, 6:00 p.m. – again on Zoom; then on the topic: "Development Cooperation and Borders".
