A group of students from Babcock University visited Friedensau

At the end of May 2026, a group of twelve students and two lecturers from Babcock University visited the campus in Friedensau. Babcock University is situated near the Nigerian coastal metropolis of Lagos and, with around 13,000 students, is the largest Adventist university in the world.

The guests, who were students on the Bachelor’s degree programme in ‘History and International Studies’, attended lectures in Friedensau in the fields of Development Studies and International Social Work. Accompanied by students from Friedensau, they gained an insight into the degree programme and student life on campus. On excursions to Berlin, Potsdam and Magdeburg, they explored important historical, cultural and tourist attractions in the region.
