Belonging in Uncertain Times: (International) Students and the 2026 Elections in Saxony-Anhalt

This public event, to be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium, is intended for students and migrants in order to know the possible effect of the upcoming election in Saxony Anhalt. It brings together perspectives from migrant and anti-fascist civil society organisations and the police to discuss the potential impact of the elections in Saxony-Anhalt on the everyday lives of migrants and students of colour. Invited guests include the Landesnetzwerk Migrantenorganisationen Sachsen-Anhalt (LAMSA) e.V and representatives of the police from Burg. There will be a discussion on what to expect before, during and after the election as well as precautions to take and the measures being put in place. Translation will be provided from English to German and vice versa.
