Information about the corona virus

Corona measures at the university as of October 1, 2022.

1.AHA regulations

General hygiene rules of spacing, hand washing/disinfecting, and the recommendation to wear an FFP2 mask will continue to apply as before. In general, attendance at symptomatic events is not permitted.

2.mask obligation

For the time being, masks are no longer mandatory. Nevertheless, the wearing of a FFP2 mask is recommended indoors or if the distance of 1.5 m to others cannot be maintained.

3.test offer at the university

Registration for testing remains suspended until further notice. In case of suspicion or symptoms, a quick test/self-test can be arranged with Renate Dost.

4.compulsory testing on arrival

We ask that all university members take a Corona rapid test during the first week of October or within the first week of arrival. Testing will be offered on October 4, 5, and 6 (Tuesday through Thursdays) between 7:30 and 9:00 am.

5.course offerings at ThHF.

Attendance is not required for courses. Regular airing during and between classes is provided. Attendance with symptoms is prohibited. A distance of 1.5 m is to be maintained where possible.

6.events

The university reserves the right to require a rapid test for individual events with increased risk.

7.cafeteria operation

Until further notice, cafeteria operations are no longer subject to restrictions. It is recommended to wear a FFP2 mask when queuing and at the buffet.

8.home office offer

Workplace evaluations will be conducted by the department head. Individuals who are able to use home office should use this option in consultation with their supervisor.

9.business trips

Until further notice, there are no longer any restrictions on business travel.

10.sports

Until further notice, there are no longer any restrictions on sports.

11.guest house

Until further notice, there are no longer any restrictions on lodging operations.

12.vaccination advice and recommendation

University employees may contact Renate Dost for advice on all immunization issues. We recommend accepting immunization offers where health permits.

13.public transport

FFP2 masks are mandatory for public transportation.

Friedensau is an international campus university. We study and live in close community, that’s why we want to face this situation in an adequate way. This means, that university administration will react together with retirement home, the community, the local church and with the responsible authorities to the current development. The taken actions are valid until further notice and can changed or recharged any time. We recommend to check emails and website regurarly.

Actions

We have the urgent request for all students and staff, to follow the 10 hygiene rules (https://www.infektionsschutz.de/coronavirus-sars-cov-2.html#c11961):

  1. Wash your hands regularly
  2. Wash your hands thouroghly 30 sec. with soap and running water
  3. Keep your hands away from your face
  4. Cough and sneeze in the right way, (inside of the elbow or tissue), keep distance
  5. Keep distance, avoid contact, do not use towels, dishes, etc. together
  6. Protect wounds, use plasters and bandages
  7. Keep in mind clean rooms, especially kitchen and bathrooms, change cleaning rags and let them dry
  8. Hygienic treatment of food, keep food in the fridge, wash fruits and vegetables before eating
  9. Wash dishes and clothes hot, cleaning rags, towels, bedlinen and underwear at least 60°C
  10. Take care for good ventilation, quick ventilation severeal tims a day.

Until further notice, events are only offered digitally. All attendance events are cancelled until further notice.
Business Trips

Business trips to and from Friedensau are prohibited by official instructions and will not be permitted until further notice.

Home office

If possible, agreements about home office as a special measure for health prevention can made directly between superior and staff, in writing per email. Please clear all questions on this way, accessibilty has to be guaranteed. Rules for deputizing have to be fixed in time.

This questionnaire must be completed by all students and stuff before attending an event. It is evaluated in order to decide whether to participate in the event and, in the event of an infection, is forwarded to the public health authorities so that contact persons can be reached in case of a possible transmission. Please help us to ensure the health and safety of all visitors to this event.
