Friends of Friedensau International e.V. met

From October 29 to 31, 2021, the members of the Friends of Friedensau International e.V. met for a weekend of encounters in Friedensau.

The program included a joint Shabbat Shalom on Friday. Martin Lindter, master student of theology, spoke. On Saturday, the program included a joint service in the chapel with a sermon by Eli Diez-Prida (Lüneburg), in the afternoon a reading with author Titus Müller (Munich) and the "Evening of the University", with diverse information on university development by Rector Prof. Dr. Roland Fischer and Chancellor Tobias Koch. Two Germany scholarships were awarded: to Mark Ato Baah-Nyarkoh and Patience Maame Egymah Barko Asamoah. Both will receive the scholarship, which is awarded to talented and high-achieving students.  The evening was concluded by the Dean of the School of Theology Alexander Schulze (Ph.D.) with a devotional word.

The Encounter Weekend concluded on Sunday, October 31, 2021, with a regular general meeting.

The next encounter weekend will take place in Friedensau in one year, then from 28 to 30 October 2022.
