New online course “Training for Small Group Leaders” began

25. Mar. 2022

On 24 March 2022, a new online course "Training for Small Group Leaders" began at the Arthur Daniells Institute for Missiology (ADIMIS) at Friedensau Adventist University. On seven evenings, in sessions of about two hours each, the basic topics on group dynamics and group leadership are taught, with a special focus on the congregational context and the transmission of values.

If you want to lead a small group but don't know how to do it, or if you need new impulses as a leader of a small group, the online course is for you. The knowledge is not imparted in long seminars, but through interactive learning in small groups, where all participants share their experiences and everyone can try things out. The course "Small Group Training" is conducted by Dr. László Szabó, lecturer in missiology and intercultural studies and director of ADIMIS. Various short lectures and practical exercises in small teams alternate. After the basic course, two further courses can be taken: the advanced course and the missionary course. There are no costs for the participants; however, they are welcome to support the training financially by making a donation. Registration for the basic course was possible until 15 March 2022 via the mail address: . For further information see: https://adimis.org
