Stefan Höschele appointed professor at FAU

At the opening event of the academic year on October 7, 2019, Rector Prof. Roland Fischer of Friedensau Adventist University (FAU) did not only welcome the new students and the faculty. He also expressed congratulations to the Dean of the School of Theology and Lecturer of Systematic Theology Stefan Höschele, PhD (University of Malawi), and handed over the certificate of appointment as Professor of Systematic Theology and Adventist Studies at FAU to him.

Prof. Höschele has been working as a lecturer at Friedensau Adventist University since 2003. Prior to this, he had been teaching at Tanzania Adventist College (today University of Arusha) for six years. His postdoctoral thesis, which was submitted to the Charles University in Prague and defended in 2017, drafts a theory of interdenominational relationships that focuses on the diversity and logic of relationship models illustrated by the history of Adventist contacts and conflicts with other churches. He is currently conducting research on several topics in the field of ethics. Prof. Stefan Höschele is married, has three adult children and lives in Friedensau.
