Music Therapy Symposium in Friedensau

27. Jan. 2020

From January 23–24, 2020, the music therapy symposium with the topic “The timbre of charisma and spirituality in music therapy—gift of God and/or holy fermata?” took place in Friedensau. Under the direction of Prof. Dr. Petra Jürgens (Program Director MA Music Therapy at FAU) and André Klinkenstein (Director of the Institute of Music Therapy Berlin-Zehlendorf), experts from the fields of music, psychotherapy, theology, counseling, and pastoral care dealt with the interdependencies and synergies of their fields.

The event was part of the project “Kleine-Fächer-Wochen an deutschen Hochschulen” (Weeks for Small Subjects at German Universities), funded by the German Rectors’ Conference.
