President Ted Wilson meets Adventist Maasai

28. Feb. 2023

The President of the General Conference, Ted Wilson, together with his wife Nancy, visited various Adventist institutions and church communities on a trip through Africa. In Oldorko, near Longido (Tanzania), they met the church elder Yohana and the teacher Ndidai. In Oldorko, the project group, which has been active in Tanzania for years and consists of students and teachers from Friedensau Adventist University and is led by Dr. László Szabó, is providing humanitarian aid. László Szabó comments enthusiastically: "How nice to see Yohana and Ndidai, who work closely with us, in pictures with our president and his wife! Yohana and Ndidai come from our community in Oldorko, which is supported by our college and Supai e.V. We have just distributed several tons of food among locals there." Szilvia and Dr László Szabó started another project trip to Tanzania a few days ago – to help the people in the Longido area and to improve the building, medical and structural living conditions.
