Academic year 2019/20 ceremoniously opened

On Monday, October 7, 2019, the new academic year was ceremoniously opened at Friedensau Adventist University (FAU). Rector Prof. Dr. phil. Roland Fischer welcomed students, faculty, and staff in the chapel of Friedensau.

The new students enroll in the Master's programs in International Social Sciences (ISS), Music Therapy, Counseling, and Theological Studies (MTS), in the Bachelor's Program in Theology, and in the course "German as a Foreign Language". They come from 24 different countries: from Austria, Burundi, Czech Republic, Egypt, Germany, Ghana, Haiti, India, Italy, Kenya, Liberia, Myanmar, Nigeria, Norway, Peru, Romania, Russia, Rwanda, Slovakia, Taiwan, Tanzania, Ukraine, the USA, and Zambia. About two thirds of the new students are foreigners.
