Summer semester started

At the beginning of the summer semester, a group of international students were newly enrolled. These students are primarily enrolled in the M.A. courses International Social Sciences and Development Studies (online), other students enrolled in Theology (B.A., M.A., Master of Theological Studies), B.A. Social Work and the course "German as a Foreign Language". For the time being, face-to-face studies will remain suspended until Easter.

The Development Studies (online) degree program opened March 11, 2021, with an online event. The choice of time was not so easy, as all involved live in different time zones. The decision was made for 12:00 noon - an acceptable time for all.

The rector of the university as well as the dean and the head of the program, lecturers and other representatives of the university welcomed the new students, who sat far away at their laptops and eagerly followed the first event via zoom. They are practitioners in international development cooperation who are pursuing a master's degree through the online Development Studies program.
