Experts face the topic “Ethical Humanitarianisms”
26. May. 2021
The Friedensau Institute for Evaluation (FIFE) and the Institute for Humanities in Africa (HUMA) presented the second topic of the discussion series "Ethical Humanitarianisms" on May 25, 2021. The focus was "Ethical Humanitarianisms: Kindness, Generosity, and Compromise." Presentations were made by Jess Auerbach (Lecturer in Sociology and Anthropology at North-West University, South Africa) and Mahendra Shunmoogam (Head of Department, Department of Trade, Industry and Competition, Republic of South Africa).
The Ethical Humanitarianisms discussion series brings together leaders and sociologists to present ethical, humanitarian, philanthropic, funding, development and financing opportunities in a world of conflicting ethics and contradictions. More about the project can be found on the FIFE website.
