++++Postponed to the year 2021++++The Institute for Languages at the Friedensau Adventist University (FAU) offers a language course in Greek on the Friedensau campus from 7 September to 2 October 2020. It is designed for beginners and advanced students. Arrival is possible on Sundays, but the course for interested people without previous knowledge starts on 7 September. Interested people with previous knowledge can arrive in stages. The language course is not only open to prospective theology students, but also to those interested in learning biblical languages. In addition, pastors in professional life can use this language course as an opportunity for further training. Rooms in the guest house are available for the accommodation of the participants. The participation fee for the four-week language course is 99 Euro per person per week (49 Euro reduced for pupils, students, job seekers, pensioners), plus room and board. Registration is possible online from now until 1 September 2020 (thh-friedensau.de/sprachkurs) Any questions will be answered by the dean's office .
In addition to language acquisition during these four weeks, the main feature of the course is a community experience that spans the course. This includes daily times of prayer and reflection. The course also includes excursions that are directly related to the study of theology, as well as selected lectures that provide insights into important areas of theology. Upon completion, the participants receive a certificate.
