06. Mar. 2023

Daniel Olariu, lecturer in Biblical Studies at Friedensau Adventist University, gave a series of lectures at the Polish Adventist College of Theology and Humanities in Podkowa Lesna, a town in central Poland, near Warsaw, in February 2023. Daniel Olariu taught "Biblical and Pastoral Studies". The participants were final year students.

In the course "Apocalyptic Literature: The Book of Daniel,“ Daniel Olariu discussed the stories and prophecies that appear in the Old Testament context of the Book of Daniel, emphasizing the importance of the individual understanding of each narrative/prophetic discourse and their intertextual relationship to each other. The examination of the literary patterns of each discourse and of the book as a whole contributed in many ways to the clarity of the interpretation of the book.
