The members of the ADIMIS do research and teaching in the whole field of missiology. Currently, the focus is on studies on church development and regional research (especially, Eastern Europe and Africa).

Current projects
- Community consultation | Impulse Workshop: Assessment, analysis of congregational status and on this basis practical developmental counseling. Based on experiences of pastors, congregational councils and church leaders.
- Small group training: Small groups provide opportunities for close fellowship, brotherhood and spiritual growth.

Wieland Gelke is from Germany. "Before, I worked as a development engineer in the automotive industry. But the Lord showed me, that leading people to Christ is more valuable and meaningful than creating cars.
So, I am very happy to become a part of the ADIMIS-Team."
John Okpechi is from Nigeria where he worked as Greek and Hebrew teacher, pastor, and church planter. He also spent summers doing literature evangelism in Douala, Cameroun. His interest is in giving Bible studies and encouraging prospects to make eternal commitments to Jesus. He is currently completing an MTS degree at Theologische Hochschule Friedensau. Apart from his passion for mission, he enjoys cooking.
Michael Bistrovic is from Croatia, where he was a church intern for two years. Now he is studying MTS Mission Studies in Friedensau.
He is married and has a little dog Honey. In his free time, he enjoys photography and playing the piano.
But most of all, he loves working with people and experiencing how God works in the lives of others.
