Congratulations on 40 years of service

The leadership of the Inter-European Division (EUD) expressed its gratitude to Daniel Heinz, Ph.D., of the Adventist Historical Archives in Europe for his more than 40 years of dedicated service to the Adventist Church at the spring meeting on may 2nd, 2022 in Friedensau. Daniel Heinz began his career in 1977 as a book evangelist in Austria, worked as a pastor in Vienna, taught in Bogenhofen, where he promoted the recognition of the Theological Seminary as a "senior college" in his function as dean of this institution. Since 1997 he has been the director of the Historical Archives in Friedensau. Even though Daniel Heinz is considered an expert on the history of Adventism in Europe, his special attention still belongs to the preaching ministry. There is – he replicates – no greater privilege than to give people comfort and hope through the Word of God. History conveys identity, but God's Word provides eternal life.
