Movie “Fatigue Society” with panel discussion in Friedensau

On Monday, December 10, 2018, the movie "Fatigue Society", based on the book by Byung-Chul Han, was shown in the assembly hall (Aula) of Friedensau Adventist University (FAU). Afterwards, a panel discussion took place with the director Isabella Gresser (Berlin). The limits of the performance society were discussed from different points of view. On the podium: Andreas Fehrecke (board member of the Aufbruch e.V., an association for addiction care, addiction prevention, social department store, outpatient assisted living, and self-help groups), Isabella Gresser (she received numerous awards for the essay movie “Fatigue Society”); from FAU: Prof. Dr. Dr. Silvia Hedenigg (Program Director Social and Health Management), Dr. Stefan Höschele (Dean of the School of Theology), and FAU students.

Both events (the movie and the panel discussion) were part of the event series "Eine Uni - ein Buch" (One UniversityOne Book). With this panel discussion, the event series comes to an end. All events were open to the public, so that interested people from the surroundings could also take part.
