Why do people volunteer?

The Arthur Daniels Institute for Missiology (ADIMIS) at Friedensau Adventist University hosted "ADIMIShare," an interactive online lecture, from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening, December 8, 2021. Dr. László Szabó, lecturer in missiology and intercultural studies, spoke on the topic "Why do people volunteer? Community culture that moves people to get involved – also in missions." The speaker explained the biblical and practical aspects. He addressed how volunteerism can be strengthened and supported in church congregations and small groups, what challenges congregation members and actors face. Afterwards, the participants had the opportunity to talk to each other, exchange experiences and learn from each other.
